Why Dayananda Education Trust

Our Scdriptures proclaim that India is a holy land, the land of God. The country always boasts of rich culture and tradition in the area of learning and education. People from other countries such as Europe, Middle East, China and Portugal came to India to get quality education in ancient times. Nalanda and Taxsila were its epicentre.

Inspite of our unparalleled culture and tradition deeply rooted in high moral values, the country now witnesses an atmosphere of distrust, despire and disappointment. In most of the cases, the children are bereft of love and affection of their parents on account of latter’s busy life. The students are engaged more in merriment than to cultivate noble attributes, respect to the parents, teachers and elders and to gather moral education. Senior Citizens rarely come forward to disseminate their knowledge and experience to lead the society in a right path.

The fabric of Hindu undevided family has severely been distorated. Usually earning children do not have time to take care of the old parents. As a result they are left lonely and abandoned.

Similarly parents at their old age find a melancholy life infinitely preferable to living with their apathetic children. More or less, everybody in the present day society is embroilled in frustration, distrust, apathy, loneliness and hopelessness. False, baseless and imaginary books have taken the place of our authoratative scriptures - the Vedas & Upanishads. Communalism grows in the guise of religion. Difference among various beliefs becoming wider. Obsence and offensive entertainment pervades everywhere in the name of culture and tradition and so on.

All such perilous elements need to be redressed in an increasingly parmanent basis rather than palliatives. Certainly, moral education, vedic knowlege and proper training are the only panacea to pre-empt all these social ailments.

In the back drop of the above scenario, Dayananda Education Trust has been formed in the year 2020 to impart modern education, to disseminate vedic knowledge to nourish and spread noble objective like peace, morality, patriotism, respect and devotion to parents and universal brotherhood in the society.

In a pursuit to achieve the desired goal, the Trust has started a Gurukul in the name Dayananda Adarsh Gurukul (in short DAG) at Village Parichhal, P.S. - Begunia, Dist. : Khruda. English medium schools are rampant in urban areas. Modern education in the hands of private organisations is more commercial in nature rather than an institutional concept that should give holistic learning to the students. There is a total absence of personality development, creation of moral conscience, ethical training and patriotism.

Unlike others, Dayananda Adarsh Gurukul aims at delivering modern education to the children in rural areas in a serene atmosphere followed by vedic knowledge, tradition, culture and high moral values of life leading to augumentation in socio-economic standards of the people living in country side. Both spiritual and matterial fullness constitue a fully developed human being. Despite a number of set backs. Dayananda Adarsh gurukul persevers to deliver good academic education in CBSE syllabus together with moral and vedic knowledge. So that they can undergo an amazing metamorphosis from average school students to full fledged human being possessing all devine attributes.

Students of DAG would have good academic career in one hand and the vedas, the fountain-head of India’s rich culture on the other hand. DAG is sanguine about their success and invicibility in every walk of life. To sum up, DAG forges ahead to become an exemplany institution in the state.
